Mr. Bruun joined CID in 2000. He is engaged in all facets of the investment cycle. During the initial investment phase, Mr. Bruun focuses on origination, valuation, due diligence, financing and negotiation of terms and conditions with all parties. Thereafter, he works with portfolio company management to refine business strategies and drive growth through internal and external initiatives.

Mr. Bruun is a Director of Director of GT Exhaust Systems and Top Master Corporation and he actively works with the following portfolio companies: RAM Industries, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-horsepower, industrial electric motors and control products serving the HVAC industry; Appriss Inc., a full service provider of automated victim notification services currently in 39 states; FKI Security Group, a manufacturer of commercial safe and cash-handling systems; and Top Master Corporation, a leading fabricator and installer of commercial and residential countertops. Mr. Bruun also managed past investments in Denver Biomedical, Inc. a leading manufacturer, distributor, and marketer of medical devices for the outpatient management of recurrent malignant pleural effusions; and Reliable Automotive, a national wholesale distributor of aftermarket automotive accessories.

Prior to joining CID Capital, Mr. Bruun held supervisory and management positions and led operational improvement projects for new acquisitions for the Conseco Companies.

Mr. Bruun received an MBA from Purdue University and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Purdue University.
